Dassault Systèmes is adding Quintiq to the family today – the company and its 800 employees have been acquired for a reported €250M Million. The acquired company will fall under Dassault Système’s 3DEXPERIENCE Platform, extending their offer to global business operations planning.

Based in The Netherlands, Quintiq counted already 250 customers using their product across more than 1,000 sites in more than 90 sites. Quintiq will allow Dassault to extend their DELMIA (Digital Manufacturing & Production) brand.

Dassault has invested more than $1 Billion in acquisitions to expand its robust offer, including ExaleadAprisoNetvibes and others. The French technology company will become a European company in 2015, following an announcement made earlier this year.
