Startup & Contributors Editor – Full Time

At Geektime, we are gradually increasing our influence all over the world and as we handle increasing amounts of great content, we need to expand our editorial team.

As a part of the job, the Startup & Contributors editor will be in charge of

  • Communicating with the startups and contributors, editing, proofreading and publishing content on a range of subjects from startups, technology and general innovation.
  • Editing contributors’ articles for clarity and consistency, and publishing them on Geektime with fast turnaround times.
  • Promoting content throughout the different social networks.

Job Requirements:

  • Native English speaker and writer –a must.
  • Creative mind.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Technology job background – an advantage.
  • Previous experience writing and editing in English.
  • Management experience – an advantage.
  • Available for full-time job in Tel Aviv.
  • Willingness to work outside normal working hours.

Technology & Startup Reporter –English –Full time

We’re looking for the geek to help us conquer the world. If you‘re a native English speaker (not merely mother tongue ‘level’ but a bonafide, mother tongue raised, English speaker), if you know your regional startup scene, connected to the tech world in general and you enjoy writing, maybe you’re the one to help us to connect the world to technology.

The Tech & Startup reporter role includes:

  • Covering the ever-developing scene of startups from around the world.
  • Diverse locational coverage of important events in the European/Asian/Latin-American scene and throughout the world.
  • Analysis of start-ups and more.

Job Requirements:

  • Technology, startups and entrepreneurship is not something that only interest you, it’s something you live.
  • Technology job background an advantage.
  • English mother tongue speaker –a must.
  • Previous experience writing and editing in English –a must.
  • Available for full-time.
  • Willingness to work outside normal working hours.
