The largest technology festival in Israel is returning – an entire week of events that will interest anyone who works and lives in the industry: a Code Conference devoted to developers and a Next Conference, including the large-scale startup competition. All the details are here

The Geektime Techfest is back, and in the biggest way. After the enormous success of Israel’s first technology festival last year, The Geektime Techfest is back, and bigger than ever: more speakers, more startups, more events, and simply more lectures.

Following the full feedback from last year’s visitors, we decided this year to move the festival to early June, so that we’ll be able to enjoy better weather and a broader range of events. Now that everything is settled, it is time to invite you to leave your computers and your offices, and meet in person the big investors and the veteran, new, and promising companies. See for yourself the faces of the 2017 technology community.

This year, the festival is taking place in the second week in June (June 4-8, 2017). Like last year, it will have various conferences, exhibitions, meet-ups, hackathons, professional workshops, and more – a huge variety of technology events that will interest anyone who works and lives in the industry.

The two main events will take place in the conference center of the InterContinental David hotel at the beginning of the week.

Geektime Next

The Geektime Next event [formerly the Geektime Conference] will take place on Sunday, June 4 – an entire day of networking – the largest startup conference in Israel. It includes the Geektime Startup Arena – riveting lectures by entrepreneurs and leading figures in Israel and all over the world – and the largest startup competition in Israel. In previous years, many of the companies on the stage at the annual Geektime Conference achieved great success, and some of them also had impressive exits. Among the companies this years are SalesPredict, Watchdox, WikiAnswers, Clicktale, Mominis, Worklight, Dapper, Kaltura, Wix, CyActive, Skycure, Overwolf, and many other good ones.
This year, we have decided to expand the competition from 10 startups to no less than 40. As part of the process of preparing for the event, 100 startups that reached the first stage of the competition will benefit from a pitch and presentation workshop with a Geektime team and presentation experts in front of an audience that will help them present their company and their product to investors in the very best way.

Geektime Code
