Leading online India- and US-based healthcare services platform Practo has announced an acquisition of Bangalore-based healthcare analytics startup Enlightiks. This deal is aimed at strengthening Practo’s position in delivering optimised healthcare enterprise solutions.

All 50 employees from Enlightiks will join Practo and will form the Analytics Business Unit within Practo which will be headed by Vamsi Chandra Kasivajjala, Co- Founder & CEO, Enlightiks.

Enlightiks’s product Querent is a business intelligence and predictive analytics platform providing actionable insights using complex mathematical, statistical, computational and cognitive models. To put it simply: it uses machine learning and deep learning techniques to accurately analyse key business metrics and help enterprise make better business decisions.

It leverages on both Natural Language Generation (NLG) technology and visualised information to deliver important business insights across every healthcare department including operations, finance, quality, pricing, marketing, customer management and risk assessment. Over 200 healthcare centres are currently using Enlightiks’s solution.

Enlightiks is Practo’s third acquisition in the enterprise space. Previously, it acquired appointment management platform Qikwell, and cloud-based hospital management platform Insta Health.
